Policies

BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT

  • A deposit of up to 50% of your service is required at the time of booking which will be processed securely over the phone or online.

  • Appointment times are reserved especially for you. We understand that life happens and everything isn’t predictable, but we kindly ask that any changes and cancellations be made 72 hours prior to your scheduled appointment. 

  • Failure to contact us and reschedule 72 hours before your appointment is subject to 50% or full cost in the case of a “no show” of the scheduled appointment at the salon’s discretion.

  • You are able to Reschedule or Cancel Online appointments, online cancellations with deposits attached are automatically refunded through our booking site prior to the 72 hour mark.

  • By holding a reservation with a credit card, you accept the rules and policies regarding no refunds and our cancellation fees policy. 

  • We reserve the right to change the above terms at any time. No shows and last-minute cancellation will not be valid for a refund. 

  • Last minute rescheduling and no-shows impact our stylists with a loss of income, we are unable to fill those empty spots and can impact our business tremendously. 

  • Please notify us if you are running late to your appointment.  We cannot guarentee your spot if you are more than 10 minutes late.

  • We accept Visa, Debit, Mastercard, cash and e-transfer

 

Alternative Payment Options: 

If you prefer not to leave a credit card on file, a 20% deposit of the total service cost is required at the time of booking.

 

AFTER YOUR APPOINTMENT

  • We would greatly appreciate it if you could spend a couple of minutes of your day to write a review of your experience with us regardless of whether we exceeded, met, or failed at meeting your expectations. At La Viva Hair Studio, our priority is to have you leave our salon with complete satisfaction. We always put our customers at the heart of what we do. We work hard to deliver the very best experience possible to our customers every day. If you enjoyed your experience with us, we'd love for you to share it with us and the world. If you did not enjoy your service, we'd love to understand what went wrong with your experience to learn from our mistakes and prevent other similar situations from occurring. The fact that these reviews are based on the direct feedback from you, our customers, is gratifying and wonderful recognition for all of the hard work that's gone into creating the La Viva Hair Studio experience.

  • For your convenience, we have several outlets for you to share your experience. You may check us out on Facebook and Google. 

  • Don't forget to tag us and use our hashtag when posting a picture of your hair by using @lavivahairstudio.

DURING YOUR APPOINTMENT

  • Before coming in, do not use drugstore shampoo and/or products (i.e., Tresemme, Pantene, Head and Shoulders, etc.)

  • There are chemicals used to process hair colour; please leave all valuables such as earrings, brand-name purses, and high-end garment pieces at home or in your car. La Viva Hair Studio is not responsible for any damages, including stains and lost or stolen items during your visit with us.

  • We suggest arriving 15 minutes before your appointment to allow for proper check-in and preparation. Late arrivals can result in reduced service time.

  • All appointments start with a complimentary consultation. We are transparent during our consultations, discussing what is achievable in one or multiple sessions.

  • Be realistic with your expectations! Suppose during the consultation, we find that your hair history (i.e., box dyes, perms, straightening, etc.), has compromised or damaged your hair. In that case, we reserve the right to refuse and cancel the appointment to keep the integrity of your hair.

  • If you would like us to assess your hair before your appointment, please book a free "Consultation" service with us. We may also require our clients to sign a waiver form that releases La Viva Hair Studio and its staff from any liabilities or damages to your hair during your appointment with us.

  • The service is not quick, but perfection never is! Our work takes time so, please don't rush us or the process. We suggest you clear your day and avoid making plans after your appointment. We take our time to ensure things are done to the highest standard.
